When you request a private demo, we collect the name, work email, optional phone number, restaurant or hospitality group, optional website, number of locations, current reservation system, and any message you choose to share. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to arrange an introduction to August.

Information handled on behalf of restaurants

Where a restaurant uses August, guest messages and reservation details are processed on that restaurant’s behalf and under its instruction. The restaurant remains responsible for its guest relationships and for the information it chooses to make available to August.

How information is used

Information is used to operate and improve the service, to respond to enquiries, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use guest messages for advertising.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of service providers for hosting, messaging, and data storage. They may process information only as needed to provide those services to us.

Retention

Enquiry details are retained for as long as needed to respond and to keep an accurate business record. Guest conversation records are retained according to the arrangement agreed with each restaurant.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you have provided through this website. Write to privacy@augustconcierge.com and we will respond.

We may update this policy as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
